It’s Flannel Season

The tail-end of the fall season is so magical. Christmas lights dancing at night to add a bit of cheer to the fact that the sun sets at 4:3o in the afternoon, bits of snow falling every so often, heaps of snow falling at other times, hot chocolate with marshmallows and cozying up under a warm blanket, maybe with a nice book you’ve re-read four or five times but can’t get enough of.

While I began my handmade journey with warm neck gear for little ones (and those are available as always), this year I’ve taken a greater focus on scarves for the people doing most of the shopping. As you’re rushing around from shop to shop, hauling bags of goodies for the ones you love, carrying a bulky purse around is probably the last of your Christmas wishes, and this time of year our coat pockets are already stuffed with gloves, tissues and just about everything else.

Keep warm with a flannel scarf — that can be worn looser while shopping, or fluffed closer on your dash to the car — and keep your cards, keys and even your phone close and safe in a barely noticeable yet super practical zipper pocket, without a purse sliding off your parka shoulder every few minutes. It’s also kind of a neat party-trick to pull stuff unexpectedly out of your cold weather accessories. 😉

These comfy zipper pocket infinity scarves are equally ready to be stuffed like a stocking with happy little treats and gifted to the ones you love this season. I’ve also added fleece-lined flannel adjustable slouchy neckwarmers for adults to my lineup this year and last; they add the perfect touch of warmth to keep away the icy chill.
